The OakTree Montessori PhilosophyOakTree Montessori offers full time and part time Preschool and Kindergarten programs in a warm and inviting environment, allowing children to grow intellectually, socially and emotionally. We provide small class size to ensure that each child will receive the attention that they need to develop to their full potential. Our program fosters children's self-esteem, independence, self-discipline, respect, cooperation and a love for learning. This is achieved through our "prepared environment." The classrooms are specially designed with manipulatives allowing children to engage in "learning activities" of their own individual choice and at their own pace. Children are free to work with any material as long and as often as necessary to master the concept. Dr Maria Montessori felt that repetition is the only true method of understanding.
